The world and me

 

I thank God

Every single day

For saving me

In such a way

 

I was certainly

On my way to hell

With gasoline underwear

Oh I can tell

 

Now when I think

Of his precious love

With all I've done

Even hate to think of

 

It touches me

So deep within

The fact he saved me

From my sins

 

But what about

The others out there

Still living in sin

Or should I care

 

I mean after all

I am on my way

To a life of peace

Another day

 

But in my heart

And when I see

Folk still lost

It does affect me

 

In all of what

They go through

Not yet knowing

What to do

 

So I make this vow

To the Lord

To do all I can

Even when it's hard

 

To tell someone

How especially in me

All that Christ did

To set me free

 

And to be selfless

As I possibly can

To get this gospel out

To every woman and man

 

My primary purpose

One day at a time

Is to tell about Jesus

Now a friend of mine

 

So on this day

Yes I do see

For this is my relationship

The world and me

The same

The soul of man

Has always been

Precious to God

This is why

Jesus had to come

Do you find this odd

With all the other

Great men around

But could not do

Die for the sins

Of all mankind

Men like me and you

Starting in Genesis

Ending in Revelation

It is all about

Jesus concealed

And Jesus revealed

I come to find out

This is it

What I want to say

It really isn't a game

Just like yesterday

And into tomorrow

God is the same

It really is time

For his people

To realize this too

To starting doing

The works of the ministry

What we're called to do

To put our own

Ideals to the side

And live for the Lord

It is in this way

We will understand

For God nothing is too hard

People are dying

Every single day

And going to hell

So how dare us

To just sit around

Like all is well

Some pour soul

Lost and bound

How you found the way

The way being Christ

Who pulled you out

Yes saving your day

Don't get twisted

He didn't stop with you

It still goes on today

But will you

My precious friend

Show others the way

Monday Morning Prayer 5/19

Father in Jesus name again we say thank you for your continual grace and mercy in our lives when we know that it is something that we truly do not deserve.  Thank you father for continuing to look beyond our faults and seeing our needs and at the same time not taking us out as holiness deserves.

        Father today we pray for leadership in our churches.  Father we pray for dedicated ministers to lead your people not only in word but indeed.  Father we ask that you truly send us pastors after your own heart who will understand that your heart is love for people.

Then father we bind the devil on every hand.  Father we bind greed and power hunger right now and we release love and true concern for your people.  Father we pray for soul winners today.  We pray for those who will understand that no matter what is happening in the world that you are still calling out and saving from the gutter most to the utter most because you saved us.

        We just thank you father for all that you have done and are doing in the lives of your people. 

It is for that reason we give you all the praise, honor and glory, in Christ Jesus name we pray, amen and amen.

Work to Be Done

 

Work to be done

 

It ain't over

God is still calling

Even for you

To do his will

Every day too

 

In his word

He tells even you

To tell someone

Even in your life

What he has done

 

Please remember

Even when times

Are not easy

He is carrying you

When you cannot see

 

There is purpose

Yes in your life

Even on your bad day

Even in these times

Learn to give him praise

 

Always know

You are not your own

But belong to the Son

Because you are here

There's work to be done

 

People are hurting

Looking every where

For the answer in you

So let's not be selfish

No matter what we do

 

And

As long as there's sin

We should be hungry

To show someone Christ

The way to be set free

 

Here's the thing

Will you join me

In giving Christ your all

For the sake of others

In Christ will stand tall

 

And remember

When Jesus saved you

He did not stop there

For there are many others

He wants us to share

 

So my friend

The question must be

When it comes to you

Are you really willing

To do what you're called to

          FATHER IN HEAVEN AGAIN WE SAY THANK YOU AND WE GIVE YOU PRAISE FOR OUR LIFE.  WE THANK YOU FATHER FOR ALLOWING US TO ENJOY ANOTHER DAY WITH OUR MOTHERS FOR THOSE OF US WHO DO STILL HAVE THEM. 

          THEN FATHER WE PRAY FOR THE STRENGTH OF THOSE WHOSE MOTHER IS NOT WITH THEM.  WE PRAY THAT THEIR MEMORIES WILL CAUSE THEM TO SMILE AND THANK YOU FOR THE TIMES THAT YOU GAVE THEM AND THEY WILL REMEMBER EVEN NOW THAT EVEN THEIR MOMS BELONG TO YOU AND IT WAS      THEIR TIME TO GO BACK TO YOU.

          THEN FATHER WE PRAY FOR ALL THE YOUNG MOTHERS OF TODAY.  WE PRAY FOR THEIR WISDOM AND THEIR STRENGTH, THAT THEY WILL IMPART WISDOM AND STRENGTH INTO THEIR OWN CHILDREN AND MOST OF ALL THAT THEY WILL RAISE THEIR CHILDREN UP IN YOUR WAYS THAT WHEN THEY GET OLDER THAT THEY SHALL NOT DEPART.

           WE JUST LOVE YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL THAT YOU CONTINUE TO DO IN OUR LIVES NO MATTER WHAT IS GOING ON IN US AND AROUND US BECAUSE WE HAVE COME TO UNDERSTAND THAT WE DO BELONG TO YOU.

            WE LOVE YOU ALL THE MORE AND WE GIVE YOU ALL THE PRAISE HONOR AND GLORY, IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.

A question

What does Jesus

Mean to you

Just to you

Not to mother

Nor to dad

A good question too

 

Can you say

You have his mind

In you daily

Will your actions

Support this statement

For others to see

 

Too many of us

Toot our own horn

Saying we are holy

With much hatred

In our hearts

So easy to see

 

Not about them

Or even the world

What about you

Are you willing

To get out of the way

To let Christ come through

 

When you see

Someone doing wrong

What comes to mind

Is it judgment

Or is it prayer

Even in this time

 

We are not

Deceived at all

The times we live in

A wicked world

With wicked folk

So full of sin

 

Which should tell

Us the saved

That we need to pray

A lot more

Especially now

In this wicked day

 

But back to you

It is a matter of choice

Only you can choose

To walk in mercy

And compassion

As Christ would have you to

 

Giving up your life

And what you want

For the sake of Christ too

That in

The very end

He can use you
